Lorbert opened its doors in 1985 with a main purpose and concept of tapping a market often overlooked by the traditional lending industry when it comes to home ownership, a market we refer to as the financially challenged families. 

We use the phrase financially challenged as an umbrella designation.  Lorbert not only works with low or medium-income families but also families that may have additional particular financial challenges that have kept the dream of home ownership at bay.

Over the years, Lorbert has continued to create a win-win situation that has offered the opportunity of home ownership to many families who never before dared to dream.   By doing one thing and doing that thing well, Lorbert has etched out a niche that has become the backbone and foundation of our company. 

By maintaining a family atmosphere throughout our company, we have been able to relate more closely and readily to the client base we service.  This has given us a unique perspective on the needs and desires of our families throughout our client base. 

Our desire to know and learn as much as possible about our families on a personal basis is what has allowed Lorbert to exist and survive industry changes where many real estate firms found themselves going out of business. 

We are very excited with the introduction of our new website celebrating our 20^th year anniversary.

Over the years, Lorbert has evolved into a position of assisting our families in the educational process of becoming a homeowner as well as home ownership itself.  We hope that this site will further serve our purpose to advance our families' knowledge in real estate and the dream of home ownership.  It is our wish that this knowledge can be passed on from generation to generation.
